Welton Village May Fair

After many years the Welton Events Group have brought back a traditional May Fair to be held on Welton Village Green on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May between 12 noon and 6 pm. A Maypole will be erected and there will of course be Maypole dancing. In addition there will be children's fairground rides, hot food, Market Rasen Junior Brass Band, Morris Dancing, Live music form 'Shadowtime', tug of war competition, Morris dancing blacksmith demonstration, bouncy castle, games & stalls.

BUT we need a May Queen! We are inviting nominations for a May Queen, which must be a girl from Welton aged between 14 and 16. As well as being crowned on the day, the winner will receive £25 and 2 runners up (may Princesses) will receive £10 each.

Nomination forms are available from Co-op & The Paper Shop in the village.

Please come along for a family fun day out.
